DO YOU HAVE PARKING?

There are two car parks on site. One at the front of the building and one at the rear (on Wilkinson Lane). Parking in our car parks is FREE OF CHARGE however, we cannot always guarantee an available space. There is also on street metered parking on Wilkinson Street.

Is a patch test necessary?

Yes, yes and absolutely yes! At Truly Scrumptious your health & safety is paramount. Patch tests are required for all chemical services (which include tinting, resurfacing facials and peels) and laser treatments 48 hours prior to treatment.

A patch test is required prior to your first appointment and only needs repeating should your medical information change or if you have not received a treatment for longer than 6 months.
All of the above information is based on manufacturer and insurance recommendations.

How can I pay?

We accept the SumUp Pay app (you can earn cashback every time you spend with us!) cash, PayPal and bank transfer.

What time should I arrive?

To ensure you receive your full treatment time please arrive a few minutes before your appointment. If you are late we will do our best to honour the treatment booked however your treatment may be slightly shorter or you may be offered an alternate service. If we are running late you will still receive your full treatment time.

What is included in my treatment time?

Your treatment time also includes your consultation and aftercare advice. These are both important elements of your appointment to ensure you receive the treatment that is right for you and any aftercare that will help to prolong the effects of the service you have received.

Why do I need to fill in a health FORM?

You are asked to complete a health form to not only ensure we will be performing the correct treatment for you but also because some medical conditions prohibit you from having certain treatments or certain elements of a treatment. If this is the case you may be required to seek a note from your GP before we can continue. Sometimes it is possible to 'tweak' the treatment or you may be offered a different service. We will always do our utmost to perform your treatment but your health is our paramount concern and we will not risk anything that may cause you harm.

Please note that all data given will adhere to all GDPR regulations.

Is there a minimum age?

You must be over the age of 16 to have treatments (please see exceptions below) at Truly Scrumptious unless a parent/guardian can attend your appointment with you and sign a document to permit the service can take place. This is an insurance requirement. You may be asked to produce ID.

Regretfully, tinting cannot be performed on anyone under the age of 16, regardless of parent/guardian consent.

You must be at least 18 years of age to receive initimate waxing services (Hollywood, Californian and Brazilian), chemical peels or laser treatments.

What SHOULD I wear for massage and intimate waxing?

If you are having a massage we would recommend wearing underwear that you don't mind potentially getting oily. We do have disposable pants if required.

If you are having intimate waxing you will be required to remove all clothing from the waist down. This means a quicker, more efficient treatment.

What do I do if my treatment isn't to my expectation?

We really hope that you love the treatment you receive, however if you have any concerns or questions please do not hesitate to get in touch. We will always be willing to try and help.

What do you do with my data?

All data collected from you is kept in a secure place that only we have access to. You can view our Privacy Policy within our ‘Policie’s’ section.

Can I have treatments during pregnancy?

You can still enjoy most treatments during pregnancy providing you are fit and well.

Regretfully, tinting, laser treatment and some of out facials cannot be performed during pregnancy or whilst breast feeding. As well as hormonal changes potentially creating problems with the skin and hair, there is an increased risk of an allergic reaction. It is also advised that a period of 6 months post pregnancy and breastfeeding pass before having these particular treatments.
